9 February 2022 marked the 20th anniversary of the death of HRH Princess Margaret. Ken Griffiths Bureau selected artists to respond to Ken’s iconic portrait of her (below). The artworks formed a physical exhibition in London, a book, and a collection of NFTs.
Leo Crane, Roy Joseph Butler and QueenEarth are among the invited artists. They have responded with Yaaasss Kween!, a watercolour animation and text celebrating Queer appropriation of royal titles and subverting symbols of Empire.
